Job Summary

A company is looking for a Triage Specialist to perform effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones and return voicemails to address questions and transfer calls as needed
• Relay pathology results and schedule appointments or procedures based on patient needs
• Document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• CCMA/RMA Certification preferred
• Experience with medical terminology and patient scheduling
• Understanding of surgical procedures and common pathology diagnoses
