Job Summary

To support patient care in a remote setting, the full-time Michigan Pharmacy Technician Trainee will input customer and prescription information into pharmacy software, ensuring accuracy while maintaining confidentiality, with occasional in-person attendance for meetings and training.

Key responsibilities

• Input customer and prescription information into the pharmacy software system while verifying patient and prescriber details
• Calculate and verify proper days of supply and maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Meet production metrics for speed and accuracy, working independently with supervisor support

Required qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to become registered in the state of practice within 6 months of hire
• Home high-speed internet of at least 100 Mbps
• Private workspace with minimal distractions and a direct connection to a wired router
