Microbiologist I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Microbiologist I to perform microbiological testing and collect samples in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collects environmental and utility samples for microbiological and chemical testing
• Performs analytical or microbial test methods to support product and material release
• Independently troubleshoots and resolves analytical techniques and instrument issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology; or Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of lab experience; or High School Diploma with at least 5 years of directly related laboratory experience
• Maintains training certifications for assigned job tasks
• Ability to interpret experimental data in accordance with product/material specifications
• Experience in multiple laboratory functional areas and techniques
• Capability to propose and implement experimental designs for root cause analysis
