Job Summary
To support the upgrade of the Microfocus platform, the remote Microfocus Expert will manage legacy modernization efforts, assess existing applications, and provide technical guidance throughout the upgrade process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the upgrade of the Microfocus platform and assess existing Microfocus and Mainframe applications
- Assist with application remediation and technical changes required for the upgraded Microfocus platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microfocus and Mainframe applications
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microfocus and Mainframe technologies
- Hands-on experience with COBOL and Microfocus application environments
- Experience supporting Microfocus-based applications during platform upgrades
- Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience analyzing and supporting legacy applications during platform upgrades
