Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer, Microgrid Controls Validation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software validation tools and simulation frameworks for control algorithms under various operating conditions
• Automate test execution and design verification metrics for control performance and safety
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define test cases and integrate field learnings into validation processes

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3-7+ years of experience in real-time system validation or embedded software testing
• Experience with simulation tools and real-time simulators for SIL/HIL testing
• Proficiency in industrial control and embedded programming languages
• Familiarity with utility grid interconnection and market requirements
