Microsegmentation Engineer

Job Summary

To advance enterprise Zero Trust security strategies, the contract Microsegmentation Engineer will design, implement, and support microsegmentation controls using Illumio in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain microsegmentation policies using Illumio
• Analyze application communication flows and enforce least-privilege access aligned to Zero Trust principles
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to deploy segmentation policies across hybrid and on-prem environments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network security or cybersecurity engineering
• Hands-on experience with Illumio and strong understanding of Zero Trust principles
• Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls
• Experience with firewall policy design and traffic analysis
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience analyzing network traffic and security logs
