Microservices Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Microservices Architect will lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems, focusing on service decomposition, domain-driven design, and distributed data management in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and service boundaries aligned with domain-driven design principles
• Lead the modernization of legacy systems into independently deployable services with clear ownership
• Design resilient distributed systems incorporating best practices for service communication and observability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, with several years in architecture roles
• Deep expertise in microservices design and distributed systems patterns
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, or C#
