Microservices Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Microservices Architect to lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems in a full-time remote position, focusing on service decomposition, domain-driven design, and ensuring resilient distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and service boundaries aligned with domain-driven design principles
• Lead the modernization of legacy monoliths into independently deployable services with clear ownership
• Establish API contracts and observability standards to enable safe evolution and monitoring of services over time

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, with several years in architecture roles
• Deep expertise in microservices design and distributed systems patterns
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, or C#
