Microservices Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Microservices Architect for a full-time remote position, responsible for leading the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems, establishing architecture standards, and modernizing legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and service decomposition strategies aligned with domain-driven design principles
• Lead the modernization of legacy monoliths into independently deployable services with clear ownership
• Design service communication patterns and establish API contracts, schema governance, and versioning strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, including architecture roles
• Deep expertise in microservices design and distributed systems patterns
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, or C#
