Microservices Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Microservices Architect to join a remote, full-time team, responsible for leading the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems, modernizing legacy systems, and establishing architecture standards aligned with domain-driven design principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and service boundaries aligned with domain-driven design
• Lead the modernization of legacy monoliths into independently deployable services
• Design service communication patterns and establish API contracts for safe service evolution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, with several years in architecture roles
• Deep expertise in microservices design and distributed systems patterns
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, or C#
