Microservices Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Microservices Architect to work full-time in a remote capacity, responsible for leading the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems while modernizing legacy systems and establishing architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and service boundaries aligned with domain-driven design principles
• Lead the modernization of legacy monoliths into independently deployable services with clear ownership
• Design resilient distributed systems and establish observability standards for service performance and security

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience, with significant time in architecture roles
• Deep expertise in microservices design and distributed systems patterns
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies
• Proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, or C#
