Microservices Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Microservices Software Engineer to design, build, and support a modernized microservices application suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute as a core member of an engineering team to solve complex business and technical challenges
• Develop maintainable, scalable, responsive, and secure software using best-practice design patterns
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, capacity, alerting, and KPIs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Master's degree a plus)
• 5-7 years of experience designing and developing secure, object-oriented web services
• Strong experience with Java, RESTful API development, and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with microservices architectures and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or private cloud)
• Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development and unit testing frameworks (e.g., Mockito, EasyMock)
