Microsoft Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

To support a federal agency client's Microsoft cloud environment, the full-time Microsoft Cloud Engineer will design, operate, and continuously improve services across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Security platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft cloud services for high availability and compliance with federal standards
• Administer cloud security architecture and manage devices using Intune for over 700 endpoints
• Develop incident response and disaster recovery playbooks integrated into existing documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Current Microsoft certifications with a minimum of 5 years of continuous maintenance
• 8+ years of enterprise Microsoft cloud engineering experience
• Proven experience managing Intune and hybrid Active Directory environments
• Familiarity with FedRAMP Moderate authorization processes in a federal environment
