Microsoft Defender Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Microsoft Defender Specialist to support the FAA's IT Endpoint Protection Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender solutions, including endpoint protection and cloud applications
• Design and implement Modern Workspace solutions aligned with FAA security requirements
• Provide Level 3 support for end-user computing solutions and manage software deployments across the enterprise

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of IT experience (or 11 years of IT experience in lieu of degree)
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Office, Cloud Apps, and Mobile Threat Defender
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server administration, and PowerShell scripting
