Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant

Job Summary

Leading the post-go-live optimization efforts, the full-time Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant will assess and enhance existing D365 Finance environments, advising clients on maximizing their system's value while collaborating with teams to drive functional improvements and user adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Assess live D365 Finance environments to identify underused features and build a prioritized roadmap for optimization
• Advise finance and operations leaders on realizing value from existing D365 investments and lead enhancements to drive user adoption
• Manage the enhancement backlog, guiding delivery teams through design, testing, and release processes with minimal disruption

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of hands-on D365 Finance experience, particularly in optimizing live production environments
• D365 certifications in Finance or related modules; CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred
• Proven track record in identifying and addressing gaps between system capabilities and actual usage
• Strong functional expertise across core finance and operational modules, including GL, AP, AR, and reporting
