Microsoft Purview Administrator

Job Summary

Seeking a Microsoft Purview Administrator for a fully remote role, the candidate will manage and maintain Microsoft Purview applications, focusing on user account setup, system enhancements, and supporting a secure Microsoft 365 environment for a project with the US Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data governance and compliance policies, including data classification and DLP policies
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview and manage role groups, custom roles, and permissions within the Purview portal
• Protect sensitive data from threats, respond to data protection incidents, and manage eDiscovery workflows for legal and compliance teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of IT experience, an Associate's Degree with 10+ years, or 12+ years of equivalent IT experience
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview administration
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 environments and related services
