Microsoft Purview Administrator

Job Summary

Seeking a Microsoft Purview Administrator for a full-time remote position, responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft Purview applications, setting up user accounts, ensuring system enhancements, and supporting the Microsoft 365 environment in a secure setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test data governance and compliance policies, monitoring for regulatory alignment
• Deploy and configure Microsoft Purview and manage role groups and permissions within the Purview portal
• Mitigate risks by protecting sensitive data, responding to data protection incidents, and managing eDiscovery workflows

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of progressive IT experience, or an Associate's Degree with 10+ years, or 12+ years of equivalent IT experience
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview administration
• Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance principles
• Experience with data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, and sensitivity labeling
