Microsoft Purview Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Microsoft Purview Engineer to lead the architecture, implementation, and management of data governance and information protection strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy the Microsoft Purview governance portal to catalog metadata from various sources
• Design and maintain a Sensitivity Labeling taxonomy and Data Loss Prevention policies
• Establish end-to-end data lineage for visibility into data movement and compliance support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Systems Engineering or Cybersecurity
• 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Deep proficiency in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance centers
• Active Secret clearance required
