Microsoft Security Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Microsoft Defender Architect to lead the deployment of Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA) across enterprise environments
• Implement and configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) in accordance with Azure architecture
• Design Azure Arc integrations to enhance security controls across hybrid workloads

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3-5 years in architecting and deploying MDCA
• Hands-on experience with Defender solutions in enterprise Azure environments
• Strong expertise in Azure architecture, including Azure Arc for hybrid deployments
• Ability to function in both architect and engineer roles during deployments
• Experience in client-facing or consulting engagements
