Microsoft Security Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Microsoft Security Consultant will assess client needs, design security solutions, and implement Microsoft security technologies across various platforms, contributing to enhanced organizational security.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand their business objectives and security concerns, providing actionable recommendations
• Design and implement Microsoft security solutions, including identity management and threat protection technologies
• Build and improve security monitoring and compliance initiatives using Microsoft Sentinel and related tools

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud security, Azure security, or Microsoft 365 security consulting roles
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies and solutions
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and identity security best practices
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and security monitoring concepts
• Knowledge of governance, compliance, and risk management practices
