Microsoft Security Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Microsoft Security Consultant will partner with clients to assess risk, design security solutions, and implement Microsoft security technologies across cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Assess Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud security environments, providing actionable recommendations for improvement
• Design and implement security solutions across identity, endpoint, threat protection, governance, compliance, and cloud security
• Build and improve security monitoring, analytics, alerting, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Log Analytics

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in cloud security, Azure security, Microsoft 365 security, or related security consulting roles
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft security technologies
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and identity security best practices
• Experience with Microsoft Defender security solutions and threat protection technologies
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Log Analytics, and security monitoring concepts
