Microsoft Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Microsoft Security Engineer will guide enterprise deployments of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel, collaborating with clients to enhance their security posture across cloud and on-premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Drive discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment, and support of Microsoft security capabilities with client teams
• Provide a holistic approach by collaborating across business units to integrate threat protection with identity, compliance, and other areas
• Contribute to the development of new Threat Protection and SIEM services offered by the company

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft cloud security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Sentinel
• Strong experience with KQL queries and on-premises Microsoft security solutions such as Windows Server and Active Directory
• Current Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate certification
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, and Entra ID
• Security Operations (SecOps) experience with Microsoft Defender XDR
