Microsoft Sentinel Expert
Job Summary
To support cybersecurity initiatives, the contract Microsoft Sentinel Expert will design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Sentinel SIEM/SOAR solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Sentinel solutions and manage security data sources
- Develop and tune KQL queries, analytics rules, alerts, and dashboards, and build automated response playbooks
- Perform threat hunting, incident investigation, and support cloud security governance and compliance activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, including hands-on Microsoft Sentinel administration and engineering
- Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Log Analytics, Kusto Query Language (KQL), and Azure Logic Apps
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and cloud security best practices
- Experience configuring and securing enterprise Azure environments
