Mid Data Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting legacy-to-modern data transformation in a secure AWS environment, the full-time Mid Data Engineer will develop batch and event-driven pipelines, automate data quality checks, and integrate with application services while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build secure Python and AWS ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery
• Develop and evolve relational data models and schemas for platforms such as MariaDB and PostgreSQL
• Create automated data-quality checks and implement monitoring for pipeline health and performance

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with prior experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government
• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering or database development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Advanced Python skills and experience with AWS Lambda and PySpark
• Experience with building and operating production ETL/ELT pipelines and automated data-quality controls
