Job Summary
To enhance the cloud computing team, a full-time Mid Developer with IAT II Certification will design and develop scalable application modules using Java and Thymeleaf, translate legacy applications to modern code, and collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality deliverables in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable application modules while ensuring security and performance
- Translate legacy PowerBuilder applications to a modern Java-based code baseline using AI tools and manual methods
- Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
Required qualifications
- US Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Public Trust/NACI position
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Active/current 8140 IAT II certification
- 6+ years of experience in Java application development and understanding of REST APIs
- Familiarity with Thymeleaf, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures
