Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) remotely, the full-time Mid-Level Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain custom geospatial and situational-awareness applications using C# and the .NET framework, while ensuring compliance with DHS security requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance geospatial applications and tools for mission environments using ESRI technologies and the .NET framework
- Create and maintain automated workflows for geospatial data processing and analysis, integrating various data formats and services
- Implement testing criteria and conduct comprehensive testing to ensure application reliability and compliance with operational requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional application-development experience, including 3+ years in geospatial or mapping solutions
- Demonstrated experience with C#, the .NET framework, and ESRI developer technologies
- Proficiency in Python scripting and experience with automated testing and workflows
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and satisfy DHS suitability requirements
