Mid-Level Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on building and maintaining scalable production services, the full-time remote Mid-Level Backend Engineer will develop new features, debug production issues, and improve engineering standards to support nearly a million end users and 4,000 companies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production services at scale
• Develop new features to support internal and external customers
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Backend role
• Experience with modern web application development and relational databases
• Proven ability to write clean, well-tested, and modular code
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures
