Mid-Level Business System Analyst

Job Summary

To support a government client engagement, the full-time Mid-Level Business System Analyst will collect and analyze domain-specific context, elicit requirements from stakeholders, and ensure accurate documentation for developers and testing teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze domain-specific context, capturing requirements, business rules, and workflows from business stakeholders
• Develop and maintain structured documentation that serves as a source of truth for downstream teams
• Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of domain context and requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst or business systems analyst on a software delivery team
• Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements directly from business stakeholders and translating them into structured documentation
• Experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment between needs and deliverables
• Strong written documentation skills capable of producing clear requirements and business-rule documentation for development and testing
