Job Summary
Supporting enterprise infrastructure and critical applications, the remote Mid-Level Capacity Manager will monitor utilization trends, develop capacity plans, and produce reports while working in a contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor utilization and growth trends across compute, storage, network, and cloud services to identify capacity risks
- Develop and maintain rolling capacity plans and forecasts for enterprise systems and infrastructure services
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate capacity posture and recommendations to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering)
- 7+ years of experience in capacity planning and performance management within enterprise IT environments
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and network systems
- Familiarity with capacity management tools and ITIL best practices
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts and risks to non-technical stakeholders
