Mid-Level Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of an AI-driven threat and risk management platform, the full-time remote Mid-Level Data Engineer will build and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines, focusing on integrating various data sources and ensuring data quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines for structured and semi-structured data from various sources, implementing batch and streaming ingestion techniques
- Develop AI-assisted ingestion workflows to automate data normalization and quality repair, collaborating with data scientists on document-extraction pipelines
- Configure Delta Lake tables and implement governance standards, ensuring data quality tests and lineage capture for regulatory compliance
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or cloud data platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, PySpark, or similar distributed data-processing technologies
- Strong SQL skills with experience in structured data transformation
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Azure
- Familiarity with data modeling, data-quality practices, and pipeline troubleshooting
