Job Summary
To support a diverse range of clients, the remote, full-time Mid-level Employment Lawyer will advise on HR and management issues, counsel on sensitive employee matters, and develop HR policies while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Key responsibilities
- Advise HR and management on hiring, performance, discipline, and investigations
- Counsel on discrimination, harassment, and other sensitive employee matters
- Develop and update HR policies and deliver training on key employment topics
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with active U.S. state bar membership
- 5+ years of employment law experience, preferably in both large law firm and in-house roles
- Strong background in employment counseling, particularly in wage and hour issues
- Experience partnering with HR and delivering employee training
- Exposure to international employment issues and working with foreign counsel
