Job Summary
Seeking a Mid-Level Federal Budget Specialist for a full-time remote position focused on enhancing federal budgeting and planning applications, collaborating with designers and developers to improve functionality and user experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze requirements to support the deployment of the BAS solution, including design and testing
- Work with UX designers to develop dashboards, reports, and workflows, clearly communicating proposed functionalities
- Manage software releases and create necessary documentation, including training guides and end-user materials
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with government budgets and spend plans
- Strong understanding of government financial processes such as Budget Formulation and Budget Execution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Technically savvy with a general aptitude for technology
