Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To modernize a mission-critical legacy system, the full-time remote Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer will leverage AI development tools to build and maintain web capabilities, focusing on user experience and rigorous engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Decompose complex problems into specifications for AI agents, ensuring high-quality final output through human review
• Build and maintain full-stack capabilities, including React frontends and Node services, while managing AWS infrastructure
• Develop a React/TypeScript component library that prioritizes accessibility and user-friendly design for complex workflows

Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance
• 3+ years of experience building production web systems
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools like Codex or Claude Code
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
