Job Summary

To support the NIC Curriculum Modernization and E-Learning Development initiatives, the full-time remote Mid-Level Instructional Designer will analyze performance gaps, design instructional materials, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create engaging e-learning and instructor-led training experiences.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyze performance, knowledge, and skill gaps to develop instructional materials and performance support solutions
  • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design frameworks to create competency-based e-learning and instructor-led curricula
  • Utilize modern authoring tools to translate complex operational concepts into engaging digital and blended learning experiences
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in instructional systems design and e-learning courseware development
  • Hands-on proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Suite and ELB Gold Suite Studio (Lectora)
  • Applied knowledge of adult learning principles and ISD methodologies (ADDIE/SAM)
  • Experience designing e-learning modules and instructor-led training packages
