Mid-Level Java Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of critical government systems, the remote contract Mid-Level Java Developer will enhance and troubleshoot Java-based applications utilizing Spring and Hibernate while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Maine's Eligibility and Enrollment systems
• Perform technical duties including developing enhancements and troubleshooting issues
• Collaborate with functional and testing teams to ensure system stability and improvements

Required qualifications

• Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle databases
• Knowledge of Spring Batch is required
• Prior experience supporting Eligibility and Enrollment (E&E) systems is preferred
• Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and support Java systems throughout the SDLC
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
