Mid-Level Java Developer

Job Summary

To support the development and maintenance of Maine's Eligibility and Enrollment systems, the contract Mid-Level Java Developer will work remotely on Java-based applications utilizing Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle databases, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system stability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications for eligibility and enrollment systems
• Troubleshoot issues and advise on technical design throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Collaborate with functional and testing teams to ensure system improvements and stability

Required qualifications

• Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle databases
• Knowledge of Spring Batch
• Prior experience supporting Eligibility and Enrollment (E&E) systems is preferred
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot Java systems throughout the SDLC
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
