Mid-Level PCB Designer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, the full-time Mid-Level PCB Designer will develop complex printed circuit boards using Altium Designer and Siemens PADS Professional, ensuring manufacturable designs for various innovative products in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design PCB layouts from concept through production, converting electrical schematics into manufacturable layouts
• Create and maintain PCB footprints, symbols, and component libraries while generating fabrication and assembly documentation
• Perform DRC/ERC verification and apply IPC standards and DFM/DFA best practices in collaboration with PCB fabricators and contract manufacturers

Required qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience
• 3-7 years of PCB layout experience
• Proficiency with Altium Designer and experience with Siemens PADS Professional
• Experience designing multilayer PCBs and creating PCB footprints and schematic symbols
• Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes, along with familiarity with IPC standards
