Mid-Level Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a Mid-Level Security Engineer, the full-time position will design, implement, and refine security measures to protect infrastructure and enhance customer confidence, collaborating with developers and IT in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts using tools like Splunk and CrowdStrike
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, partnering with engineering teams to remediate findings
• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or security engineering
• Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management, and endpoint protection
• Experience with SIEM platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
