Mid-Level Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Mobility Engineering organization, the full-time Mid-Level Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and public REST APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust, high-performance object-oriented code and develop public REST APIs using Java
• Lead design decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while driving engineering best practices
• Analyze existing systems to identify improvements, implement automation for testing and deployment, and provide live-site support for production applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 3-5 years of professional experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in backend development with expertise in Java or C#, and frameworks like SpringBoot
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
• Experience designing and developing internet-scale services with a focus on scalability and reliability
