Mid-Level Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Mid Level/Journeyman).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies across workstreams and platforms
• Author and own detailed test plans, test cases, and test data strategies aligned to complex user workflows and system architecture
• Drive defect identification, documentation, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking through to closure

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional software quality assurance experience, including complex enterprise or government systems
• Expertise in test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle management, and release readiness
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or other engineering/technical discipline, or 8 additional years of experience in lieu of education
• Ability to obtain Background Investigation Clearance
