Job Summary
Driving growth and retention for a portfolio of approximately 175 mid-market retail sellers, the full-time Mid-Market Account Manager will consult with business owners to expand their use of Square's ecosystem, manage relationships, and advocate for customer needs while working in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain relationships across a portfolio of mid-market retail sellers, focusing on account expansion and satisfaction
- Consult with business owners to identify opportunities for payments and business management solutions
- Negotiate contracts and manage project execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in SaaS, payments, or POS technology
- Proven track record of growing and retaining a book of business
- Experience negotiating contracts with senior stakeholders
- Technical solutioning skills, including requirements gathering
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred, but not required
