Middleware MQ Specialist

Job Summary

Engaging in the entire lifecycle of services, the contract Middleware MQ Specialist will analyze ITSM activities, support system design and deployment, and maintain service health remotely while ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps
• Support services before they go live through system design consulting and capacity planning
• Maintain and monitor live services for availability, latency, and overall system health

Required qualifications

• In-depth experience with IBM MQ or similar messaging systems like Kafka or NATS
• Proficiency in Linux and PL/SQL
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Jenkins and monitoring tools, preferably Splunk
• Strong skills in incident management and troubleshooting
