Middleware System Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Middleware System Administrator/DevOps Engineer, the remote position with low monthly travel will manage JBoss EAP environments, oversee Azure DevOps administration, and support automated application deployment and release processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain enterprise JBoss environments, including clustering and failover configurations
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for application deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability of middleware platforms and support production environments
Required qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with JBoss EAP 7/8.x administration
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Azure Repos and Pipelines
- Experience with application deployments and performance tuning in JBoss environments
- Solid scripting skills in Shell/Bash for automation tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
