Middleware System Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Middleware System Administrator/DevOps Engineer, the remote position with low monthly travel will manage JBoss EAP administration, Azure DevOps, and support automated application deployment and release processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain enterprise JBoss environments, including clustering, failover, and application deployments
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and performance tuning while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and incident management for middleware platforms
Required qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with JBoss EAP 7/8.x administration
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD and Azure Pipelines
- Experience with application deployment using JBoss GUI and CLI tools
- Proficient in Shell/Bash scripting for automation tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
