Middleware System Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Middleware System Administrator/DevOps Engineer, this remote position with occasional travel to Des Moines, IA will manage JBoss EAP environments, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high availability of middleware platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Administer JBoss EAP environments, including clustering, failover, and application deployments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated application deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production environments and troubleshoot issues
Required qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with JBoss EAP 7/8.x administration
- Proficient in Azure DevOps, including Azure Repos and Pipelines
- Experience with application deployment processes and performance tuning
- Solid Shell/Bash scripting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
