Middleware System Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Middleware System Administrator/DevOps Engineer, this remote position with low monthly travel to Des Moines, IA will manage JBoss EAP environments, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high availability of middleware platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and manage enterprise JBoss EAP environments, including clustering and failover
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated application deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production environments and troubleshoot issues
Required qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with JBoss EAP 7/8.x administration
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Azure Repos and Pipelines
- Experience with application deployments and performance tuning in JBoss environments
- Strong Shell/Bash scripting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred
