Middleware System Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Middleware System Administrator/DevOps Engineer, this full-time remote position with occasional travel to Des Moines, IA will manage JBoss EAP environments, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high availability of middleware platforms.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain enterprise JBoss environments, focusing on clustering, failover, and application deployments
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated application deployment and release processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support middleware monitoring, performance tuning, and production support
Required qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with JBoss EAP 7/8.x administration
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Azure Repos and Pipelines
- Experience with application deployment using JBoss GUI and CLI tools
- Solid understanding of JVM performance tuning and server configuration management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
