Middleware System Administrator
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Middleware System Administrator/DevOps Engineer, this remote position with low monthly travel will manage enterprise JBoss environments, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and support automated application deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer JBoss EAP environments, including clustering, failover, and high availability
- Manage Azure DevOps for build, test, deployment, and release automation
- Provide production support, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for middleware platforms
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with JBoss EAP 7/8.x administration
- Experience with CI/CD processes and Azure DevOps administration
- Proficient in Shell/Bash scripting and troubleshooting middleware issues
- Knowledge of enterprise application deployment and release processes
