Midwest Development Director

Job Summary

Overseeing a multi-state territory, the full-time salaried Midwest Development Director will lead fundraising efforts to raise $10M annually, manage a team of development professionals, and ensure the adoption of ALS Association standards while working remotely from the Midwest region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the multi-state fundraising strategy and develop annual budgets to achieve established KPIs
• Provide coaching and accountability to a team of 15-20 development professionals across the Midwest Territory
• Collaborate with various revenue source leaders to manage donor pipelines and execute community fundraising programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (8-10 years of progressively responsible fundraising leadership in lieu of degree)
• 7+ years of experience in fundraising, with at least 3 years in supervisory or field leadership roles
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-market or enterprise-level fundraising portfolios
• Advanced skills in CRM, analytics, and financial management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
