Midwest Permit Operations Lead

Job Summary

Serving as the primary resource for customers, the full-time Midwest Permit Operations Lead will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of permit applications, oversee team development, and ensure compliance while working remotely across various Midwest states.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates on permit status and requirements
• Oversee the preparation and submission of permit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Develop and mentor junior team members, providing training and feedback to enhance their skills

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in construction permitting or project management, preferably in a tech-driven environment
• Hands-on knowledge of the permitting landscape across the Midwest, particularly in Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, and Wisconsin
• Established relationships with local municipalities and inspectors in the Midwest
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance management
